Overview
Delivery Postie with Driving – Job reference: 337290. Location: Machynlleth Delivery Office, SY20 8AH. Job type: Permanent contract. Hours: 20.00 hours per week, working 5 days across Monday - Sunday, between 10:00-14:00 and 14:00-18:00. Sunday shift between 10:00 and 17:00. You will be required to work weekends due to operational demand.
Responsibilities
* Deliver mail and parcels as part of a local Royal Mail delivery route.
* Walk long distances and work outside in all weather; maintain a physical role.
* Provide good customer service as a friendly face in the community.

* Guaranteed hourly rate of £13.06 p/h (paid monthly and adjusted to your working hours).
* Paid overtime at 1.25x for hours over 40 per week.
* 22.5 days holiday, rising with length of service (adjusted to hours if below 40 per week).

Qualifications
* Upbeat, independent and self-motivated; organised, punctual and ready to deliver great customer service.
* A people-person and friendly in the community; able to walk long periods and work outside in any weather.
* Strong sense of community and pride in work.
* Full UK manual driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points.

Please note: Roles offering between 35-40 hours per week are listed as full-time; however, any role under 40 hours per week will be classified as part-time in the employment contract.
