Overview Humly North West is looking for a patient and nurturing Learning Support Assistant to join a primary school in Carlisle. This part-time role involves providing vital 1:1 support for a child with SEN in a Year 2 classroom. Starting in September, you will work every morning (Monday to Friday) for the Autumn term. We need a reliable professional who can build a trusting relationship with the pupil, helping them stay engaged and secure during morning lessons or intervention sessions. Key Responsibilities Deliver high-quality learning experiences aligned with the school's curriculum and expectations. Build positive relationships with students to support their academic and personal development within the Primary setting. Maintain effective classroom management and a productive learning atmosphere. Follow all safeguarding and reporting protocols required by the school. Candidate Profile Relevant qualifications for a Teaching Assistant (e.g., QTS or equivalent). Strong communication and interpersonal skills suited to the Primary sector. Reliability, adaptability, and a genuine passion for education.
