Attega Group is currently partnering exclusively with our client in recruiting a Fleet Administrator to join the team.
The main purpose of this role is to be part of the team, responsible for the management and coordination of Metcor’ s fleet of vehicles, ensuring Compliance, Cost Control, Efficiency, Driver Support and a Sustainability strategy.
In return, our client is offering a salary of up to £27,000 P/A, depending on experience, plus annual leave, pension, staff events including golf days, family days and Christmas parties.
This is a full-time, permanent role. The hours of work will be 09:00 – 17:00.
Reporting to the Hiring Manager your responsibilities will include:
Communicate with drivers and service providers via phone and email.
Manage defects, vehicle compliance, and driver infringements.
Upload and manage transport data using various systems.
Assist other departments with Fleet related enquiries.
Booking in services/MOTs/Inspections.
Investigate and action PCNs.
Support the Transport Manager with audits and compliance tasks.
The ideal candidate:
Knowledge of transport procedures and safety regulations preferred but not essential.
Strong communication and organisational skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and ideally have experience of Transport Management Systems.
Someone with attention to detail.
The ability to drive in order to assist in vehicle movements on occasions.
