Guildhall Chambers is seeking a proactive and experienced Operations Manager to join our team in Bristol. This pivotal role supports the smooth running of Chambers, ensuring our barristers and staff are empowered to perform at their best. You'll work closely with senior leadership to manage office operations, ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, and provide essential HR support.
𝗞𝗲𝘆 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀:
Lead and manage office services staff, including reception, housekeeping, and facilities.
Oversee recruitment, training, and development to maximise team performance.
Ensure Chambers meets all legislative and regulatory obligations.
Manage office administration, premises maintenance, and health & safety.
Support governance functions, including committee coordination and documentation.
Deliver HR support, including policy development, staff benefits, appraisals, and E&D data reporting.
Facilitate pupillage and mini-pupillage processes in line with BSB standards.
