We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated technician to join our Team.
Youll have a key role in delivering a busy dispensing service for in-patients and out-patients at Royal Cornhill Hospital. You will be actively involved the dispensing process, including the final accuracy check and deputise for the Lead Pharmacy Technician. You will be responsible for the day-to-day organisation of the dispensary workload, providing technical support to wards and co-ordinating the dispensing and supply of clozapine. Training pharmacy staff and other members of multi-disciplinary teams will be a core part of a role.
Youll undertake medicines management activities at ward level, supporting the medicines reconciliation process, check patients own medicines and organise medicines supply for in-patient stay and at discharge. You will have a lead role in medicines related audit. This post also includes a commitment to rotational weekend working in the dispensary at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary.

As from 1/4/26, the Agenda for Change full-time working week will be reducing from 37 to 36 hours per week. Part time hours will be reduced pro-rata. However, there will be a corresponding increase in the hourly rate so that pay will not be affected.
