Infrastructure Solution Designer working with a Telecoms Company for an initial 6-month contract, paying between £ - £ per day (inside IR35). This is a Hybrid position 3 days p/week om the London office.

Main Responsibilities
1. This role provides technical specialisms that underpin the service management platforms for Enterprise customers, generating revenue circa 50-60m per annum.
2. Provides design and implementation of technical solutions in an end-to-end engineering function.
3. Accountable for ensuring and understanding the security posture of the components they are responsible for.
4. Is proactive in the resolution of both service-effecting events and security defects in their specialist area.
5. Providing uplifts to the platforms that are sympathetic to the operational needs of Enterprise.
6. Providing reporting and communication for senior management and project delivery, to ensure they are aware of all weekly activities.
Required Experience
7. Is able to regularly attend Defence offices as per customer / platform requirements.
8. Holds a technical degree or industry-relevant experience.
9. Is able to read, understand and update complex design artefacts.
10. Can communicate effectively with a range of customer types across the business, both internal and external.
11. Stakeholder management - evidence of managing multiple stakeholders across a variety of roles and seniority levels.
12. Is able to develop subject matter expertise in engineering functions such as Service Management, Network Management or Infrastructure Management.
13. Can work under direction in a fast-paced environment on a variety of projects or issues.
14. Has an understanding of ITIL practices and understands how they apply to IT Service Management platforms.
