Job Title: Court of Protection Paralegal Location: Burnley or Preston (Hybrid: 3 days remote, 2 days in office) Salary: Competitive, based on experience Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Court of Protection Paralegal to join our growing team. This role offers a balance of remote and office-based working, providing flexibility while maintaining close contact with clients and colleagues. The successful candidate will support our legal team in all aspects of Court of Protection work, ensuring high-quality service and efficient case management. Key Responsibilities: Assist solicitors with preparation and submission of Court of Protection applications. Draft legal documents, correspondence, and reports relevant to Court of Protection matters. Conduct legal research and gather supporting evidence for cases. Liaise with clients, their families, and other professionals to provide updates and gather information. Maintain accurate case files and ensure compliance with relevant regulations. Support fee earners in managing deadlines and prioritising workloads. Requirements: Previous experience working in Court of Protection or related areas of law. Strong understanding of the Court of Protection process and relevant legislation. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organisational skills with attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and work both independently and as part of a team. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal case management systems.
