We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Qualified Science Teacher to join a thriving secondary school in the Southend area. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate educator who can deliver high‑quality Science lessons across KS3 and KS4, with the possibility of KS5 depending on experience.
About the Role
As the successful candidate, you will:
* Plan and deliver engaging Science lessons across Biology, Chemistry and Physics
* Differentiate effectively to support mixed-ability classes
* Maintain strong behaviour management and create a positive learning environment
* Contribute to departmental planning, assessments and curriculum development
* Support the wider school community where required
What We’re Looking For
* QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) – essential
* Strong subject knowledge across the Science curriculum
* Ability to inspire, motivate and challenge students
* Confident behaviour management
* A proactive, committed and professional approach
* Previous UK secondary school teaching experience
