IT Manager Hybrid Central London Office (2 Days Onsite) Were working with a well-established global organisation looking for an experienced IT Manager to lead and optimise their European IT operations. This is a hands-on leadership role requiring oversight of infrastructure, service delivery, and third-party managed services, while mentoring a small internal team of Senior Technicians. You'll play a key role in streamlining internal processes, managing 3rd line support (with flexibility to cover 1st and 2nd line support when needed), and ensuring a secure, efficient and scalable IT environment. What You'll Be Doing: Oversee day-to-day IT operations across the UK and Europe (approx. 80 users) Supervise and mentor a small team of Senior Technicians Manage relationships with MSPs for 3rd/4th line escalations, cloud services, and licensing Deliver and improve IT projects e.g., transitioning from Citrix to SharePoint Continuously identify opportunities for greater efficiency and cost-effectiveness Lead endpoint security, patching, and compliance with best practices Maintain strong network/server health and availability Own IT policies, governance, training, and documentation Occasionally travel to Europe to support regional teams What We're Looking For: Strong background across 1st, 2nd and 3rd line support (with focus on 3rd line) Hands-on experience with Microsoft 365, Azure, SharePoint, Citrix, and virtual desktops Familiarity with ITIL practices and security-first approach Ability to manage MSP relationships and internal stakeholders Solid track record delivering technical improvements or cost savings Experience onboarding new users and managing support ticket volumes Confident leading small teams and mentoring others Clear communicator and strong organiser
