Job Title: Technical Reporting Accountant (Fixed-Term Contract)
Role Summary
Responsible for delivering high-quality financial and management reporting across multiple international entities, ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards (e.g., IFRS and local GAAP). The role also supports process improvements and finance transformation initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the technical close process across multiple entities and accounting frameworks
* Produce accurate and timely financial and management reports
* Perform variance analysis against forecasts and prior periods
* Prepare monthly and quarterly reporting packs and metrics
* Analyse and explain financial results, including investigating unusual movements
* Support regulatory and statutory reporting requirements
* Act as a key contact for external auditors on technical matters
* Contribute to process improvements and maintain strong financial controls
* Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders across jurisdictions
Requirements
* Qualified accountant with relevant industry experience
* Strong knowledge of technical accounting (ideally within insurance or financial services)
* Experience with financial close processes and reporting standards
* Advanced Excel and strong analytical skills
* Ability to manage deadlines and communicate effectively with stakeholders
