Role: Senior Brand Manager – HARIBO Innovation
Location: HARIBO Castleford (hybrid working; three days in the office and two days working from home). Occasional travel may also be required

We are on the hunt for a ‘Senior Brand Manager – HARIBO Innovation’ to come and join the sweet life of HARIBO!
This is a fantastic opportunity to take a sweet seat within our HARIBO UK&I Marketing department where you will sit firmly within our Brand team.
You will be responsible for delivering a considerable proportion of our impressive growth agenda for the next 5 years which includes identifying key innovation strategies to deliver sustainable growth from new products comprising of both recipe and format expansion. How impressive does that sound!
You will report directly into our fantastic Head of Marketing. This is an opportunity not to be missed as you make a sugary wave within our impressive industry delving hand first into identifying and maintaining initiatives to fuel our pipeline of new ideas. You will also take a critical role in managing and developing our Brand Manager talent to deliver our striking HARIBO goals.
How you’ll contribute to the mix:
1. Scoping and driving forwards long- term innovation and portfolio plans to deliver against our 5-year business strategies
2. Working closely with team members to build our 5-year innovation pipeline to win key under indexed category entry points
3. Managing HARIBO’s innovation communications plans
4. Managing and developing the work of your direct report (Brand Manager – Innovation) to deliver excellent marketing campaigns and innovation plans
5. Leading and managing change through key stakeholders (both Commercial and Operational) to drive forward strategies and plans
6. Working alongside team members to steer brand plans
7. Taking an analytical approach to understanding the market and consumer environment to identify future opportunities
8. Adhering to style guidelines and legal and international corporate procedures
Can you supply our essential ingredients?
Are you currently operating within the Brand Marketing space within FMCG and are ready to take on your next challenge?
We are ideally looking for someone who has strong product management experience including developing robust consumer relevant and commercially sound innovation and bringing this to market on time and in full. Do you have what it takes?
We are also looking for someone who has a background in confidently managing agencies in delivering insight-led multichannel marketing campaigns.
To enable sweet success, commercial and brand management acumen is key. It is also important that you are a natural strategic thinker when it comes to all elements of brand marketing. Are you a passionate data guru with a strong analytical ability? We are looking for someone who loves to get stuck into interpreting category, consumer and market data in order to identify personal opportunities and risks.
Strategic project delivery experience is also critical! Do you have top-tier planning and delivery skills? It is also important that you’re a natural leader and can really inspire those cross functional teams around you, not forgetting effortless manging virtual stakeholder relationships.
