Unqualified Teaching Assistant - Specialist Provision
Chorley, Lancashire£109.85 per dayStart Date: 4th May 2026Full-Time | Term Time Only | Monday-Friday | 8:30am-3:30pmWe are currently recruiting for a committed and resilient Unqualified Teaching Assistant to work full-time within a specialist provision in the Chorley area. This is a rewarding opportunity to support students with SEND and SEMH additional needs, helping them to engage in education and develop both academically and emotionally.
Role Responsibilities
* Supporting students on a 1:1 and small group basis
* Assisting the class teacher with tailored learning activities
* Promoting positive behaviour and emotional regulation
* Creating a safe, structured, and supportive learning environment
Requirements
* Willing to support students with SEND and SEMH needs
* Minimum 24 months employment references with no large unexplained gaps
* Enhanced Child DBS on the Update Service or willingness to pay and apply for one
* Reliable, patient, and resilient approach
