We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Egg Waste Operative to join our client based in Ruabon, starting immediately. This role is based within a food production environment and involves handling egg waste products that do not meet quality standards. Pay: £12.21 per hour plus 50p per hour attendance/safety bonus Total: £12.71 per hour Paid weekly by Swift Temps Ltd Shift Pattern / Hours of Work: 6am / 7am to 6pm (day shift) 4 on / 4 off rota, including some weekend work Key Duties and Responsibilities: Collecting and handling egg waste, including broken, mouldy, damaged, or failed-quality eggs Working in unpleasant environment due to spoiled food waste Disposal and segregation of egg waste in line with hygiene and food safety procedures Use of EPT / PPT to transport waste and products within the warehouse Loading and unloading waste containers and packed products Manual handling of trays, bins, and containers of eggs and egg waste Completing paperwork, delivery notes, and basic data entry Skills and Experience Required: Previous experience in a warehouse, food production, or food processing environment Experience using an EPT/PPT Ability to work in strong odours and unsanitary conditions Good level of literacy and numeracy for paperwork completion Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling Strong attention to detail and awareness of food safety standards Benefits: Casual dress Free parking On-site parking Work Location: In person
