Therole
Fugro are now seeking an Unexploded Ordnance(UXO) Consulting Specialist to join the Europe and AfricaGeoconsulting team based in either Wallingford, Oxfordshire,Louvaine-la-Neuve, Belgium or Nootdorp, Netherlands. Reporting tothe Department Head for Geophysics Geoconsulting, yourresponsibilities will be two-fold; to coordinate regional screeningstudies as to the UXO risk levels for offshore wind installations,advising on UXO risk mitigation measures and secondly to defineoptimal technical solution in terms of UXO survey for marine sites,where UXO is identified as a risk, this will include working withmany internal stakeholders and external clients to agree the besttechnical campaigns.
Who we're lookingfor:
* A degree or MSc inHistory, Archaeology, Explosive Engineering, Earth Sciences orGeotechnical Engineering.
* Previous experienceas a UXO Consultant is essential.
* Chartershipor actively pursuing chartership through appropriate professionalinstitutions to support ALARPassessment.
* Willingness to traveloverseas.
* Excellent verbal and written Englishlanguage skills.
* A passion for learning and adrive for improvements through innovation.
* Workcollaboratively with colleagues andpeers.
* Excellent communication skills and ableto build strong influentialrelationships.
