Do you have a passion for precision and a drive for technical problem-solving?
We have an exciting opportunity for a Technical Services Representative (TSR) / Support Engineer to join our dynamic team, maintaining and troubleshooting cutting-edge systems in gas turbine engine test facilities. As a TSR, you'll play a pivotal role in providing top-notch customer support while leading issue resolution and mitigating technical risks. This position requires a versatile skill set, where the incumbent will be responsible for overseeing, supervising, and consistently enhancing adherence to ISO accreditation. This primarily entails focusing on the technical proficiency of the calibration process.
What You'll Be Doing:
* Maintaining and troubleshooting systems in Gas Turbine engine test facilities, ensuring peak performance.
* Handling customer requirements and providing support and feedback to clients and design teams.
* Performing system troubleshooting, addressing software and hardware issues from application to assembly level.
* Identifying faults in unfamiliar equipment using manuals, knowledge, and curiosity.
* Executing system calibration and hardware maintenance with high precision.
* Ensuring traceability and configuration control to safeguard system integrity.
* Providing feedback to hardware and software design departments for system improvements.
* Monitoring system operation and suggesting process improvements.
* Managing critical spares for system hardware to ensure seamless operations.
* Proposing preventative actions and solutions for system problems.
* Suggesting improvements to products, processes, and environmental practices.
* Troubleshooting instrumentation measuring parameters like temperature, pressure, vibration, etc.
* Working as part of a 24/7 shift team to meet client needs.
What'll Help Your Success?
* Minimum of 5 years' experience with electronics, instrumentation, or control systems.
* Experience in calibration, measurement, root cause analysis, and measurement uncertainty.
* Knowledge of Data Acquisition Systems.
* Engineering degree or equivalent practical experience.
