Adult Learning Area Manager - (SEND, SGS Well and Sport)

Location: Stroud or Bristol Campuses (negotiable for the successful candidate)
FTE Salary: Up to £41,913 (Salary is dependent on qualifications and experience)
Contract Type: Permanent
Working Hours: 37 hours per week

Key Tasks and Responsibilities
* Creatively design and adapt curricula to meet the diverse needs of adult learners, particularly in SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities), SGS Well and sport-based education.
* Lead and manage the delivery of flagship programmes such as In2Sport, SGS Well and Hope, ensuring high-quality learner experiences and measurable impact.
* Drive the financial success of the adult learning provision, working towards a target income of nearly £1 million annually.
* Lead, support, and develop a team of lecturers, coaches, and support staff.
* Build strong relationships with external stakeholders, including funders, community organisations, and local authorities.
Beneficial Skills & Qualifications
* Understanding of SEND frameworks, inclusive education practices, and relevant legislation.
* Knowledge of sport and physical activity as a tool for engagement, education, and personal development.
* Proven ability to lead and motivate teams
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with learners, partners, and stakeholders
* Strong organisational skills to manage multiple programmes and priorities
