Corporate Insurance Broker
who will play a key role in developing and servicing client relationships, while supporting continued growth.
Role Overview
As a Corporate Insurance Broker, you will be responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of mid to large commercial accounts across a range of sectors. You will work closely with clients to understand their businesses, identify risks, and provide comprehensive insurance solutions. This is a client-facing role requiring strong technical expertise, a consultative approach, and the ability to negotiate effectively with insurers.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage and develop a portfolio of industrial and commercial clients, ensuring exceptional service delivery.
* Build and maintain strong client relationships through regular contact and strategic account management.
* Assess client risk exposures and provide expert advice on insurance programmes and market options.
* Negotiate terms, cover, and premiums with insurers to deliver the best outcomes for clients.
* Support the placement of complex risks across multiple product lines.
* Identify opportunities to cross-sell and develop new business within existing accounts.
* Work collaboratively with colleagues to share knowledge and contribute to the success of the wider team.
* Ensure compliance with FCA regulations and company procedures at all times.
Skills & Experience Required
* Proven experience as a Commercial or Corporate Insurance Broker, ideally with exposure to industrial clients.
* Strong technical knowledge across key commercial insurance lines (e.g. property, casualty, liability, fleet, financial lines).
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
* A proactive, consultative approach with a focus on client outcomes.
* Ability to manage multiple priorities and work both independently and as part of a team.
* Cert CII / Dip CII qualification (or working towards) preferred.
