About the role:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Operative to join our Redditch team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring customer orders are picked, packed, and processed accurately, efficiently, and to a high standard.
Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, this is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and thrives as part of a team.
What you’ll be doing:
1. Load and unload delivery vehicles, ensuring all supplier deliveries are checked and recorded accurately
2. Carry out daily and weekly warehouse activities, including:
3. Binning
4. Perpetual stock checks
5. Daily and annual returns
6. Service exchange processes
7. Manual stock adjustments
8. Ensure all goods are accounted for at the end of each day
9. Complete all documentation accurately and within required timeframes
10. Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment at all times
11. Identify opportunities to improve warehouse and logistics processes, sharing suggestions with the Team Leader
What were looking for:
Essential:
12. Previous experience in a warehouse environment, or a good understanding of warehouse operations
13. Basic IT skills, including Microsoft Office (Outlook and Excel)
14. Awareness of health and safety practices, including manual handling
15. Strong team player with a positive and reliable approach
16. Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines
17. Good verbal communication skills
Desirable:
18. Manual Handling training
19. Counterbalance Forklift Truck Licence
20. SPA or CSCS certification
21. Experience using handheld devices or warehouse management systems
