Overview

Bowman Academy is a brand new specialist all-through free school for pupils aged 4-16 with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. Admissions to the school is for pupils with an Education Health and Care Plan (EHCP) issued by the Local Authority. Bowman Academy is located in the market town of Shepshed, Leicestershire. The school officially opened in August 2024 and is part of the Community Inclusive Trust, a Multi Academy Trust comprising of special and mainstream primary schools across Lincolnshire, Leicestershire and Nottinghamshire.

Job title and details

Job Title: Teaching Assistant with Responsibility for Behaviour
Contract Type: 32.5 hours per week term time plus a week for Inset days
Salary: Grade 4 SCP 9-12 £22,290 to £23,375 Pro Rata (£25,989 to £27,254 FTE)
Start Date: TBC

Location: Bowman Academy, Shepshed, Leicestershire
