What You'll Be Doing: Lead, motivate, and mentor the engineering team, driving performance and cultivating a collaborative spirit. Oversee maintenance schedules and respond swiftly to equipment breakdowns to keep production on track. Safeguard health and safety practices, ensuring a culture of safety that every team member adheres to. Diagnose equipment faults and implement effective troubleshooting procedures. Empower your team through knowledge sharing and training, enhancing their skills and confidence. Collaborate with production managers and team members to communicate equipment needs and improvements. Keep meticulous records of maintenance activities and prepare insightful reports on production equipment performance. Requirements Experience in a supervisory role within engineering, preferably in chilled food production or similar industries. Solid understanding of mechanical and electrical engineering principles in a manufacturing environment. Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills, with an ability to engage and unite your team. Proven problem-solving abilities, with a proactive and innovative mindset. A strong commitment to health and safety standards and compliance in engineering practices. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while fostering teamwork and collaboration.
