We are seeking a Chartered Senior Financial Planner to join Benchmark Financial Planning. This role suits an experienced adviser with a strong track record of acquiring and retaining clients, an established professional network, and the credibility to handle complex client needs.

What you'll do
* Deliver holistic financial planning across investments, pensions, protection, and tax.
* Lead client meetings, fact finds, and the construction of tailored financial plans.
* Maintain and grow relationships with professional introducers.
* Develop new business through referrals and networking.
* Act as a technical reference point for complex cases.
* Mentor and support junior planners and paraplanners.
* Maintain strong compliance standards and quality of advice.
* Contribute to business growth and operational improvement.
Knowledge, experience, and qualifications
* Chartered Financial Planner status (CII or equivalent).
* Minimum 5 years’ regulated advisory experience, typically 10+ at this level.
* Evidence of successful business development through professional networks.
* Strong technical knowledge across pensions, investments, tax, and estate planning.
* Confidence dealing with high‑net‑worth clients.
* Experience mentoring or supporting less experienced advisers.
* Strong working knowledge of financial planning systems and tools.
Base and benefits
You’ll be based at the Benchmark Head Office, within our Broadlands Business Campus near Horsham in West Sussex but will need to be present across our other offices, including the main Schroders headquarters in London. Our campus has a cutting‑edge software and hardware, on‑site restaurant, coffee shop and gym, and we provide a dedicated shuttle bus to and from Horsham’s main line train station.
