The Role
Depending on the level, the role may focus on:
* Consultant level - acting as a functional subject matter expert, leading configuration, design, and enablement of SmartRecruiters.
* Lead/Manager level - operating as a trusted delivery lead and advisor, providing structured project governance, stakeholder management, and oversight across multi‑workstream programmes.
Engagements may be stand‑alone ATS deployments or part of broader programmes including integrations, data migration, change, and training. Delivery frameworks will align to SmartRecruiters partner methodology, tailored to client context, scale, and maturity.
Key Accountabilities
What you’ll be doing:
* Deliver multiple concurrent SmartRecruiters implementation projects from discovery through go‑live and hypercare
* Provide full project management across scope, plan, RAID, budget, and change control (Lead/Manager)
* Act as the primary point of contact for client sponsors, TA leaders, HRIS, and partner contacts (Lead/Manager)
* Engage with clients to clarify requirements, scope, and success criteria
* Lead or contribute to client workshops and produce supporting documentation (plans, RAID, readiness, solution designs, configuration workbooks)
* Configure and test SmartRecruiters modules including workflows, requisition templates, job posting, approvals, user roles, permissions, career sites, and hiring team experiences (Consultant)
* Document functional requirements, solution designs, and configuration decisions (Consultant)
* Support and advise on SmartRecruiters marketplace and API‑based integrations, working alongside technical specialists
* Partner with Project Managers to identify risks, dependencies, and functional impacts to delivery timelines
* Manage UAT, including defining test scenarios, triaging defects, validating functional outcomes, and overseeing go‑live preparation and hypercare
* Deliver or coordinate client training and enablement for recruiters, hiring managers, and administrators
* Provide SME input into proposals, scoping, and pre‑sales activities
* Achieve agreed billable utilisation targets
* Contribute to wider AMS Technology Consulting initiatives
Skills & Experience
Essential:
* Proven experience delivering client‑facing ATS or HR technology implementations
* Hands‑on delivery experience with SmartRecruiters (strong preference)
* Solid understanding of Talent Acquisition processes and recruitment operations
* Strong communication skills with the ability to engage confidently with recruiters, TA leaders, HRIS, and project stakeholders
* Ability to work effectively in a fully remote, international delivery environment
* Consultant level: Hands‑on experience configuring SmartRecruiters and translating TA requirements into functional design
* Lead/Manager level: Strong project management capability across multi‑workstream, multi‑stakeholder programmes, with senior stakeholder management experience
Desirable
* Experience delivering global or multi‑country ATS rollouts
* Consulting or professional services background
* SmartRecruiters certification
* Project management qualification (PRINCE2, PMP, or equivalent)
* Exposure to integrations with HRIS, assessment, background checking, or onboarding platforms
* Experience working alongside SAP SuccessFactors or broader HR technology ecosystems
* Assisting with data migration validation and reconciliation.
* Providing post‑go‑live hypercare support and optimisation recommendations.
