We’re looking for a Plant Supervisor to join our team at Heidelberg Materials in Whatley. We will teach you everything you need to know about concrete production and plant operations.
Location: Whatley
Salary: £30,000pa
Hours: 45
Responsibilities
* Overseeing the day-to-day running of the concrete plant
* Using computer systems to batch and dispatch concrete
* Speaking with customers and coordinating deliveries
* Supervising contractors and hauliers on-site
* Carrying out routine maintenance and inspections
* Ensuring compliance with Health & Safety and Environmental standards
* Keeping the site clean, safe, and well-presented
* Operate batching plant to company standards and maintain site presentation
* Accurately batch concrete/mortar in accordance with procedures
* Ensure the plant is stocked with approved materials at all times
* Visually check stocks weekly and verify monthly
* Carry out routine maintenance and inspections for defects and record actions
