Job Title: Test Development Engineer
Pay: £40k - £50k DOE
Location: Newport
Start Date: Immediate
Shift: Monday - Thursday 08:00am - 16:30pm. Friday 07:00am - 12:30pm
JDR is recruiting on behalf of a well-established electronics manufacturing client based in Newport.
The Role:
As a Test Development Engineer, you will play a key role in supporting production test equipment for functional testing and leading new product introductions (NPI). This is an excellent opportunity to apply and build upon your electronics hardware expertise and PCB/HLA test engineering experience in a dynamic manufacturing environment.
The role is well suited to a driven engineer who wants their skills fully utilised and values working in a collaborative, technically focused team.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop and maintain automated and manual test procedures for electronic assemblies
2. Design, commission, and support test fixtures, hardware, and software for in-circuit, functional, and system-level testing
3. Support and maintain production test equipment
4. Lead test development activities for new product introductions (NPI)
