Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Front of House Team Member to join our vibrant team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring they receive exceptional service and a memorable dining experience. Your hospitality skills will be key in creating a welcoming atmosphere while efficiently managing guest needs.
Responsibilities
* Greet and welcome guests with a warm and friendly attitude.
* Take orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring all guest requests are met.
* Provide knowledgeable recommendations on menu items to enhance the dining experience.
* Assist with food preparation and ensure adherence to food safety standards.
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the front of house area, including tables and service stations.
* Handle cash transactions and perform basic math calculations for billing purposes.
* Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and address any guest concerns promptly.
* Manage time effectively during busy periods to maintain high service standards.
Qualifications
* Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant settings is preferred.
* Strong understanding of food safety practices and culinary experience is advantageous.
* Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
* Basic math skills for accurate order processing and cash handling.
* A passion for guest services with a commitment to providing an outstanding customer experience.
* Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated when required.

Availability to work lunches, evenings and weekends a must.
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Pay: £10.00-£13.00 per hour
Expected hours: 15 – 20 per week
