The Despatch Operative Role Working in a busy dispatch department, the successful applicant will be physically fit and active. Reporting to the Despatch Team Leader, your duties will include: On time, effective & efficient picking and packing of customer orders, including liaison with production departments and stock control team Ensure the efficient despatch of orders to customers OTIF and in line with KPI’s and targets Communication with courier and haulage service providers to ensure smooth transportation of goods to customer’s premises Working with team to ensure processes are in place to ensure the highest standards of picking accuracy are maintained On time and accurate input and maintenance of data, including regular checks and reconciliations Housekeeping: Effective utilisation of warehouse space – keep a clean, tidy warehouse in accordance with the standards set by management Compliance with Health and Safety procedures in line with current Health and Safety legislation and company requirements Hours – 08.00am - 17.00pm, Monday to Friday To become our Despatch Operative, you will need : - Good timekeeping (essential) - Good attendance record (essential) - The ability to perform at a high quality level If you feel you are the right candidate for this Despatch Operative role then please click ‘ apply ’ now!
