Job Description:
We are an established health and safety consultancy based in Glasgow. We are looking for a highly experienced Construction Health and Safety Advisor for an ongoing renewable project in the North of England.
This short-term contract role will be based on site for approximately 12 - 15 months. We require someone with significant experience, knowledge, and skills in construction safety, preferably with renewables and/or utilities experience.
We are looking for a candidate with the following qualities/qualifications:
* A degree in a safety, construction, or design-related field
* NEBOSH Construction Certificate as a minimum
* CSCS / SSSTS / SMSTS
* Experienced in construction safety including a working knowledge of the CDM 2015 Regulations
* Experience working on-site within a busy, customer-focused environment
* Able to engage with colleagues and clients at all levels
* Develop strong working relationships
* Pragmatic and able to work independently
* Full UK Driving License and willingness to travel as required
* Member of IOSH and APS
* Experience in renewables and utilities sectors is desirable
