An established specialist school in Surrey is seeking an experienced EYFS Teacher to join their dedicated team on a full-time basis for a long-term cover role. The school provides a calm, structured, and therapeutic learning environment for children aged 6–11 with communication difficulties, often associated with Autism Spectrum Conditions and other complex needs.
About the Role:
* Deliver a personalised EYFS curriculum tailored to individual learning profiles.
* Work within a multi-disciplinary team including therapists and support staff.
* Foster a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment that supports emotional and social development.
* Use a relational approach to behaviour, incorporating Positive Behaviour Support and restorative practices.
* Plan and deliver engaging lessons that promote independence, resilience, and curiosity.
Ideal Candidate:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with EYFS specialism or experience.
* Experience working with children with SEND, particularly Autism and communication needs.
* Strong understanding of child development and early years pedagogy.
* Ability to build trusting relationships with pupils, families, and colleagues.
* Committed to inclusive education and therapeutic approaches.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
