Key responsibilities:
3. Ensure supplier compliance with quality standards and regulations.
4. Conduct supplier audits and assessments to identify areas for improvement.
5. Collaborate with suppliers to resolve quality-related issues effectively.
6. Analyse and report on supplier performance metrics.
7. Support the development and implementation of quality improvement plans.
8. Maintain accurate documentation and records related to supplier quality.
9. Assist in supplier qualification and approval processes.
10. Work closely with internal teams to align supplier processes with company standards.
11. This role will require some travel, up to 25%.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Supplier Quality Engineer should have:
12. Experience in supplier quality assurance within the automotive sector.
13. Strong understanding of IATF quality standards and regulatory requirements.
14. Proficiency in leading audits to IATF standard and implementing quality improvement plans.
15. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
16. Effective communication and collaboration abilities.
17. Technical knowledge relevant to the engineering and manufacturing field.
