SEND Teaching Assistant

We’re looking for dedicated individuals to support children with learning difficulties, working 1-1 and in small groups to help them get the most out of school.
Leader Education is working in partnership with inclusive mainstream and specialist SEND schools in Leeds, offering rewarding full-time roles for individuals who want to make a genuine impact supporting pupils with autism, SEMH, and complex learning needs.
The Role
This is a full-time, long-term position (Monday–Friday) where you will:
* Provide 1:1 and small group SEND support
* Help pupils access learning and stay engaged
* Support behaviour regulation and emotional well-being
* Adapt activities to meet individual needs
* Work closely with teachers, SENCOs, and therapists
You may support pupils with Autism (ASC), ADHD, Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD), SEMH needs, or physical and sensory needs. Some roles may involve personal care.

Previous school experience is desirable but not essential for this role. This is a great first role for someone ready to gain experience working with children.
