The Role
As the HR/QSE Administrator, you will play a key role in supporting our Cookstown plant by delivering effective HR services and ensuring compliance with quality, safety, and environmental standards. This is a varied role, offering exposure to both HR and QSE functions, and would suit someone with strong organisational skills, independence, and a drive to make a positive impact. Experience in either HR or QSE is preferable.
Key Responsibilities
HR:
* Act as the first point of contact for HR queries.
* Maintain accurate HR documentation and databases in line with legislation.
* Lead recruitment, onboarding, induction, and probation reviews.
* Support managers with performance management, employee relations, and investigations.
* Prepare contracts, right-to-work checks, and statutory reports (Equality, Article 55).
* Liaise with payroll to resolve queries and maintain employee records.
* Drive employee engagement initiatives and update HR communications.
QSE:
* Maintain and update QSE documentation, policies, and records.
* Ensure compliance with health, safety, quality, and environmental standards.
* Support audits, corrective actions, and continuous improvement initiatives.
* Coordinate QSE-related training and promote a culture of safety and responsibility.
* Stay informed on relevant legislation and ensure organisational compliance.
Who We’re Looking For
* Previous experience in HR or QSE is preferable
* Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
* Ability to work independently and handle sensitive information confidentially
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Proactive, adaptable, and eager to contribute to continuous improvement
