Responsibilities
* Manage, build, and troubleshoot servers using LINUX Operating Systems
* Maintain and build RED HAT and other Linux servers
* Perform administrative operations and maintenance functions of server hardware and software using RED HAT and other Linux operating systems
* Maintain system security and execute common practices and procedures; monitor usage statistics and logs; monitor and remedy any attempt to penetrate or corrupt server files
* Maintain baseline configurations and modify configuration settings
* Institute troubleshooting and incident response procedures
* Troubleshoot system related problems
* Provide team leadership and guidance to less experienced administrators
* Responsible for the training, motivation, discipline, and performance evaluation of assigned employees
* Remain current in operating systems/software analysis and technological developments and applications
* Recommend future direction or projects to management
* Provide expertise and direction in the development or modification of software programs and applications to enhance an operating system

Qualifications
* Education: Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science
* Experience: 5+ years of related experience
* Technical skills:
o Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
o Experience with Linux and Windows server environments
o Proficient in Linux/UNIX commands
o Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL)
o Microsoft and VMWare Virtualization
o McAfee
o Storage Administration
o Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail
o Strong organizational, communication, and collaboration skills
* Security clearance level: TS/SCI w/Poly
* US citizenship required
* Certification Required: CompTIA Security+ (or equivalent)
* Travel required < 10%
* Role requirements may vary based on technical training, certification(s), or degree

The likely salary range for this position is $161,500 - $218,500. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range. Total compensation for international positions varies by tax, social security, and immigration statuses, as well as location. Generally, an international assignment may include allowances, premium uplifts, and/or relocation or transportation benefits, above base salary range noted.
