Milk Education is supporting a warm and supportive primary school in the North Tyneside area that is looking for a Year 6 Teacher to join them on a long-term basis. The school values consistency and is keen to welcome someone who can make a steady and positive contribution to the class.
About the Role
You will teach a Year 6 class, deliver engaging lessons, and support pupils with their academic progress and general well-being throughout the school day. You will work closely with the wider staff team to maintain a calm and structured learning environment.
Key Responsibilities
• Plan and deliver lessons for a Year 6 class
• Support pupils’ learning, confidence and progress
• Work effectively with teaching assistants and other staff
• Maintain a positive and organised classroom environment
Requirements
• QTS
• Recent experience teaching in upper KS2
• Enhanced DBS or willingness to obtain one
