Scholastic has an exciting opportunity for a Warehouse Manager to join our Operations and Distribution Warehouse.
Scholastic is the world’s largest publisher and distributer of children’s books and is home to best-selling authors and illustrators such as Suzanne Collins, Liz Pichon, Julia Donaldson, Axel Scheffler, and Phillip Pullman; as well as market leading brands including Dog Man and Horrible Histories.
As Warehouse Manager, you will lead and optimise all aspects of our warehouse operation, ensuring accurate inventory control, efficient and safe movement of goods, and exceptional service levels for both internal and external stakeholders.
You will drive operational excellence by improving processes, developing team capability, and using data and the Warehouse Management System (WMS) to boost productivity, reduce costs, and support the organisation’s wider strategic goals.
You will bring established experience in managing warehouse teams alongside extensive knowledge of Health & Safety compliance. As the first point of contact for the business, you will communicate clearly and confidently with stakeholders at all levels.
With excellent organisational and communication skills, you will be proactive, driven, and able to work under pressure to solve problems effectively. You will have experience using a Warehouse Management System and be proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

Qualifications
* Established experience in managing warehouse teams.
* Extensive knowledge of Health & Safety compliance.
* Experience using a Warehouse Management System (WMS).
* Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
* Excellent organisational and communication skills; ability to work under pressure.
