Contract Opportunity: Enterprise Architects (x3 Domains) - Major Government Organisation
I'm currently supporting a major UK government organisation with multiple Enterprise Architect contract roles, each focused on a distinct domain. These are senior-level architecture positions offering the opportunity to shape long-term strategy, influence investment, and lead architecture teams across complex estates.
Open Roles
* Enterprise Architect - Application Architecture
Lead the modernisation of application landscapes, SaaS adoption, integration strategies, and digital service enablement.
* Enterprise Architect - Infrastructure Architecture
Define strategy for networks, platforms, data centres, and connectivity across a large-scale, hybrid IT estate.
* Enterprise Architect - Cloud Architecture
Develop cloud-native roadmaps, migration strategies, governance models, and future-proofed cloud solutions.
Key Responsibilities (All Roles)
* Shape strategic vision and long-term roadmaps for your domain.
* Lead and mentor teams of architects, setting guardrails and best practices.
* Engage senior stakeholders to align business and technology goals.
* Horizon-scan for emerging technologies and drive innovation through pilots.
* Influence investment cases and ensure architectural consistency across delivery.
Contract Details
* Rate: Up to £850/day (Inside IR35, UMB)
* Locations: London, Bristol, Newcastle, Reading, Warrington, York (Hybrid - 3 days onsite)
* Clearance: Active SC or CTC required
Ideal Candidate
* Proven experience as an Enterprise Architect in large, complex organisations.
* Strong background in one of the three domains listed above.
* Public sector or regulated industry experience is highly desirable.
* Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence at senior levels.
