Location: Nelson Contract Type: Full-time Salary: £13.75 - £14.50 per hour Start Date: Monday 5 th January 2025 About the Role As a Year 4 Teaching Assistant, you will: - Work closely with the class teacher to support learning activities and classroom management. - Provide one-to-one and small group support to pupils, including those with additional needs. - Help create a positive, engaging, and safe learning environment. - Assist with planning and delivering creative and stimulating lessons. - Support pupils’ social and emotional development. What We’re Looking For We’re looking for someone who: - Has experience working with children in a school setting (preferably KS2). - Is patient, caring, and committed to helping every child succeed. - Has excellent communication and teamwork skills. - Holds a relevant qualification (e.g. Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant Certificate) – desirable but not essential. - Is proactive, flexible, and eager to learn.
