Job Description
🚀 The Job Mission
This position is embedded within the site construction team delivering HV/LV and power earthing installations.
You will support on-site execution and compliance in a dynamic, high-security environment.
You’ll work closely with contractors and technical teams to ensure delivery meets BS7671 and safety standards.
Support the installation of LV power systems and associated temporary works
Ensure correct implementation of power earthing and site bonding arrangements
Conduct site inspections, reporting daily progress and issues
Contribute to safe systems of work in line with CDM and Electricity at Work regulations
Attend daily coordination meetings and contribute to short-term planning
Review RAMS, temporary works designs, and verify site compliance
Interface with logistics, HSE, quality and commissioning teams to maintain alignment
Support the resolution of site technical queries and contribute to assurance documentation
Qualifications
🛠 Essential Skills and Qualifications
Electrical Engineering qualification (HNC/HND or above)
BS 7671 18th Edition certified
Experience in LV systems and earthing installation on large construction projects
Good understanding of CDM and site temporary electrical works
Strong reporting, coordination, and problem-solving skills
SMSTS, IOSH or equivalent safety training
Ability to interpret electrical schematics and method statements
Effective communicator with multi-stakeholder site experience✔️ Desired Skills
Experience in nuclear or high-security environments
Familiarity with BS 7375 (electrical distribution on construction sites)
Knowledge of temporary supplies, construction-phase sequencing and recovery planning
Awareness of assurance frameworks in highly regulated sectors
Hands-on experience in temporary electrical systems troubleshooting
