Our client, a leading player in the infrastructure and energy sector, is seeking an experienced Commercial Manager to join their dynamic team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a forward-thinking organization delivering high-value projects across infrastructure, renewables, utilities, and power.
As the Commercial Manager, you will play a pivotal role in managing commercial operations, ensuring project profitability, and providing strategic input on commercial decisions throughout the project lifecycle.
Responsibilities
* Oversee commercial activities on large-scale infrastructure, renewables, utilities, and power projects.
* Manage budgets, forecasts, and cost control to optimize project profitability.
* Lead contract negotiations and manage key stakeholder relationships.
* Provide risk management strategies and ensure compliance with contractual obligations.
* Support the delivery teams by offering commercial guidance and reporting on project performance.
* Identify commercial opportunities and drive value engineering initiatives.
What We’re Looking For
* Proven experience as a Commercial Manager within infrastructure, renewables, utilities, or power sectors.
* Strong understanding of contract management (e.g., NEC, FIDIC) and procurement strategies.
* Excellent financial acumen with the ability to manage budgets, forecasts, and commercial reporting.
* Strong leadership skills with experience managing commercial teams.
* Ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
* Relevant degree in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management, or a related field (MRICS desirable).
