The Role The role is to work as a ALN Teaching Assistant within a Special School in Cardiff. The role requirements are to complement the professional work of the ALN department by taking responsibility for agreed learning activities under an agreed system of supervision. This may involve planning, preparing and delivering learning activities for individuals/groups, monitoring pupils and assessing, recording and reporting on pupils’ achievement, progress and development. What you will need to succeed * Have a passion for the education of children and working with pupils with learning needs. * Have the ability to form effective working relationships with pupils, staff and parents. * You will act as a positive role model for pupils with ALN.
