Volunteer Hairdresser – Marie Curie Hospice, Bradford
Availability: Any weekday between 10:00 and 15:30
We're looking for a qualified Hairdresser or Barber to join our team and help make a meaningful difference in the lives of our patients.
By offering your time, care, and professional service, you'll help patients feel comfortable, confident, and cared for - bringing a little joy and dignity to their day through something as simple and powerful as a haircut.

What you'll be doing:
* Provide hairdressing/barbering services to patients at the hospice
* Liaise with staff to identify patients who'd like to use the service
* Offer friendly conversation and a listening ear
* Keep the salon space clean, tidy, and welcoming
* Flag any wellbeing concerns to staff
* Support with other related tasks as needed
Why you'd be a great fit:
* NVQ level qualification in hairdressing/Barbering
* Friendly, compassionate, and respectful
* Comfortable working with patients receiving end-of-life care
* Reliable and able to work independently
* A good communicator with a warm and approachable manner
