Summary of Role
The Senior Account Manager Role is required to manage clients and campaigns/jobs effectively and efficiently by working collaboratively across internal stakeholder groups, in order to deliver a unified service.
To support the Senior Account Direct and Client Services Manager in the planning, co‑ordination and control of the activities of the client services team. Maintain and enhance customer relationships and meet organisational and operational objectives.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and maintain strong, long‑lasting relationships with key clients, serving as their primary point of contact.
* Regularly engage with clients to understand their needs, objectives, and challenges.
* Identify opportunities to grow accounts through upselling and cross‑selling services and solutions. Proactively present new ideas and strategies to clients to help them achieve their goals.
* Manage own client accounts and campaigns/jobs efficiently.
* Contribute to evaluation of how service can be improved, challenging process, efficiencies, review and consider optimisation opportunities in ways of working internally.
* Build strong relationships with key internal customers and stakeholders.
* Regular data reporting & analysis (including KPI’s and objectives).
* Mentor/coach/train ‘lead by example’ for peers, account managers and account executives within team, including best practice for: Commercial acumen – spotting opportunities to maximise profit; Expanding customer relationship opportunities – selling in/opening conversations for additional services and/or business lines.
* Promote and maximise the use of technology lead solutions to assist delivery to deadline.
* Forecasting / invoicing / PO management – managing own and ensuring best practice and business objectives are worked to.
* Communicate issues and solutions clearly to both clients and internal teams.
* Day to day account management, full end to end oversight. Internal campaign briefing, client and internal team liaison.
Experience
Previous experience within the industry in a similar role. Would also consider conversation with strong a Account Manager.
