Ensure effective financial controls, risk management and governance
Monitor restricted and unrestricted funding and prepare financial reports for funders
Support bid development, contract pricing and financial modelling
Maintain and improve financial systems, policies and procedures
You will also contribute to wider organisational governance and support the development of sustainable income initiatives aligned with our charitable mission.
About You
You will be:
CCAB-qualified (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CIPFA) or equivalent
Experienced at senior level with responsibility for financial management, reporting and compliance
Confident working with Boards and Finance Committees
Knowledgeable in charity accounting standards and regulatory requirements
Skilled in budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis and internal controls
Experienced in preparing management accounts and overseeing audits
Comfortable overseeing outsourced finance functions
Highly organised, accurate and able to communicate complex financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders
Experience within the charity or not-for-profit sector is highly desirable.
