The ideal candidate will have a background in project management, and team leadership with ideally delivery across data analytics or software. You will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end delivery of data analytics projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives, and driving continuous improvement in delivery processes. Working closely with the R&D Director and Data Product Manager to align product roadmaps and core product development updates whilst also factoring in customer deliveries to ensure a consistent data analytics delivery output. Responsibilities: Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of data analysts fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence. Project Management: Manage the planning, execution, and delivery of data analytics projects, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards. Client Engagement: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, understanding their business needs, and translating them into actionable project requirements. Resource Management: Allocate resources effectively to meet project demands, including staffing, budgeting, and scheduling. Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks and issues that may impact project delivery, proactively addressing challenges to ensure successful outcomes. Quality Assurance: Implement best practices and quality assurance processes to ensure the accuracy, reliability, and integrity of data analytics solutions. Stakeholder Communication: Communicate project status, updates, and key insights to internal stakeholders and clients, ensuring transparency and alignment throughout the project lifecycle. Managing and working closely with internal sales representatives to capture client needs and manage delivery expectations. Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement in delivery processes, methodologies, and tools to enhance efficiency, productivity, and customer satisfaction. Performance Monitoring: Monitor project performance metrics, KPIs, and milestones, tracking progress and identifying areas for improvement. Training and Development: Provide training and professional development opportunities to team members to enhance their skills and capabilities in data analytics. Strategy: Contribute to development and execution of Data strategic plan Skills/Experience Required: Previous experience in data delivery management or a related position is essential. Proven track record of managing a team is essential. Strong project management, business analysis and organisational skills is essential. Excellent communication and customer service skills is essential. Strong problem-solving skills is essential. Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment is essential. Experience of Python/Powershell is an advantage. Experience of SSRS is an advantage. Experience of Power BI is an advantage.
