Job Title: General Builder
Location: Wellingborough, Northamptonshire
Salary: £30,000 per annum + Overtime

We are an independent fire and flood restoration company, working alongside some of the UK's leading insurance companies and restoration networks. From domestic homes to commercial premises, we support customers recovering from fire, flood, and escape-of-water damage with professionalism, skill, and care.
We are now seeking two General Builders to join our team based at our offices and warehouse in Wellingborough.
The Role
As a General Builder, you will play a key part in our restoration projects. Your responsibilities will include:
* Protecting unaffected areas of properties to prevent secondary damage
* Stripping out damaged building materials in line with the specification of works
* Completing risk assessments
* Photographing all works and completing internal paperwork
* Ensuring sites are left clean and tidy upon completion
* Undertaking further training and progressing into other areas of the business following a successful probation period
What We're Looking For
* Previous experience in restoration, construction, or a related trade (preferred)
* Full UK driving licence held for at least 5 years, with no more than 6 points
* Practical skills with tools and a willingness to work hands-on
* Strong communication and customer service skills
Hours & Benefits
* Full-time, permanent: Monday to Friday, 7:30am – 16:30pm (1-hour lunch)
* Salary: £30,000 per annum, paid monthly
* Overtime: Available during busy periods
* Pension: Company pension scheme
* Holiday: 20 days annual leave + bank holidays
