Research Associate
About the Role
* Develop mathematical models for TB treatment – Enhance an Individual-Based Model (IBM) to capture patient heterogeneity in tuberculosis, integrating within-host dynamics, treatment pathways and treatment response to support personalised therapies.
* Interdisciplinary research – Work within the Department of Mathematical Sciences at the University of Bath, collaborating with mathematicians, clinicians and biological scientists to address real clinical challenges through modelling.
* Research outputs – Publish in peer-reviewed journals, present at conferences and contribute to future grant development in this 1-year MRC-funded position.
* Research community – Join the Centre for Mathematical Biology and the Applied and Interdisciplinary Mathematics group, support PhD and undergraduate researchers, and engage in departmental activities.
