Overview
We’re looking for a Junior Kitchen Manager to join the Butlin's Restaurants Department based in Minehead.
Responsibilities
* Reporting to the Kitchen Manager, you will support the running of the kitchen and support in leading a team of up to 15.
* Ensure that guests remain the central focus of all operational decisions to deliver an amazing service.
* Contribute to resource planning, recruitment and selection to have the best team in place.
* Monitor and drive continuous improvement to deliver exceptional guest experiences.
* Deliver food cost budgets through menu planning, cooking to standards and specification.
* Support the accountability of food hygiene standards and health and safety in line with legislation and company policies.
* Be a role model for the Butlin’s way of working, ensuring training schedules and performance development plans for your team.
* Inspire the team to deliver a great experience to guests every time and develop their skills through leadership and coaching.
About You
* Experience in a similar level role, or seeking to step up to your next role in the kitchen.
* Hard-working, reliable, and focused on getting things done with a mindset to improve the team's delivery of brand standards.
* Energetic, enthusiastic, high-spirited and fun-loving with an understanding of the value they add to the guest experience by unlocking the potential of the team.
* Responsible for managing margins and cost control, as well as all health, safety and hygiene-related tasks.
