Responsibilities
* Interpret and analyse engineering drawings and CAD data to ensure manufacturing feasibility and accurate tool designs.
* Oversee tooling orders, ensuring they meet project requirements and deadlines.
* Manage toolmakers throughout the development process, ensuring quality standards and timelines are met.
* Develop and refine manufacturing processes to optimise efficiency, quality, and cost.
* Conduct tool trials, analyse trial data, and validate tool performance and process capability.
* Provide ongoing technical support to production teams, troubleshooting tooling and equipment issues to ensure operational efficiency.
Qualifications
* Proven ability to manage multiple deliverables simultaneously with excellent time management skills.
* Proficiency in engineering drawings, CAD software, and GD&T principles.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, coupled with a proactive approach to technical challenges.
* Excellent communication and collaboration skills, capable of building professional relationships at all levels.
* Technical understanding of manufacturing processes and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
