Sales Administrator – Alton (Full Time)


DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

* Provide administrative support to major accounts, including quotations within SLA, handling queries, raising and processing orders, and increasing margins month-on-month.
* Manage renewals contracts with high accuracy and fast turnaround.
* Become the go-to expert for a set of vendors, managing the quote and order process.
* Provide sales administration support to external sales team, renewing contracts and exploring upsell opportunities.
* Own and manage the renewals operational cycle, liaising with key stakeholders to ensure smooth running of the sales cycle from preparation to deal completion.
* Provide the highest level of customer service, developing and maintaining strong relationships with customers and suppliers and enhancing sales of the portfolio.
* Understand a diverse range of vendor products, ensuring up-to-date knowledge of features and pricing.
* Work toward financial targets and KPIs focused on accuracy, turnaround time, and increasing gross margin.


QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

* Personable with the ability to develop strong, lasting relationships internally and externally.
* Previous experience in customer service, administration, or sales administration.
* Responsive and efficient with strong communication skills and a good telephone manner.
* Strong commercial awareness, attention to detail, and administrative skills.
* Kept motivated to learn, develop, and surpass targets.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel & Word).
* Ability to problem-solve, identify client needs and respond accordingly.
* Knowledge of the IT industry; familiarity with our vendors is advantageous.
* Experience using a CRM system.
