Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Restaurant Manager to oversee daily operations within our vibrant establishment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive restaurant experience, and a passion for delivering exceptional hospitality. This role involves supervising staff, ensuring food safety standards, and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction. Duties
* Manage and supervise all restaurant staff, including servers, kitchen personnel, and baristas, ensuring efficient team management and excellent service delivery
* Oversee food preparation and cooking processes to maintain high culinary standards and consistency
* Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and health & safety standards across all areas of the restaurant
* Organise staff schedules, delegate tasks, and monitor performance to optimise productivity
* Maintain stock levels, order supplies, and oversee food production to minimise waste and control costs
* Handle customer enquiries, resolve complaints promptly, and ensure overall guest satisfaction
* Implement training programmes for staff development in areas such as food safety, service excellence, and hospitality standards
* Monitor cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen and dining areas to uphold hygiene standards
* Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of quality ingredients and supplies
Experience
* Proven supervising experience within a restaurant or hospitality environment
* Extensive restaurant experience with a strong background in food preparation, cooking, and food safety practices
* Demonstrable team management skills with the ability to lead diverse teams effectively
* Knowledge of culinary techniques, food production processes, and kitchen operations
* Previous experience in hospitality settings such as hotels or bars is advantageous
* Familiarity with serving procedures and hospitality standards is essential
* Leadership qualities with excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
* Experience with food safety regulations and compliance requirements such as HACCP or similar standards
