The Job
As a Kitchen Porter, you will work across all our kitchen areas, carrying out plate wash duties as well as general kitchen cleaning duties to ensure a high standard of hygiene and cleanliness throughout.
Key Responsibilities:
* Clean all kitchen equipment, pots etc to ensure a high standard of hygiene is maintained.
* Clean kitchen as laid down in the daily and weekly cleaning schedules to include surfaces, floors, working surfaces, ovens etc.
* Ensure all waste and food bins are emptied regularly throughout the day.
* On a rota basis, clean the Staff Canteen twice daily and as requested.
* Work with colleagues to reduce energy costs and consumable waste.
* Assist in any other duties as required.
